This is not a joke. I was talking with a friend of mine this morning, that works in the Mortgage Industry, and he gave me a brief run down on it. There are income limits (I believe $70,000) and purchase price limits (I believe $225,000). We did not get into detail, as I am not in the Mortgage industry. As long as you stay in the for a required number of years, the money does not have to be paid back. If you or anyone you know are considering buying their first home, please let me know and I will have him contact you. He can go into details of what it takes to qualify. On a $150,000 home, the state would be giving you 10% down. It is an awesome opportunity.
Call Ken Debus of Union Home Mortgage, at 586-524-5955 for details.
